When is the mdt certification exam?
Once you finish all 4 clinical technique units, success mentorship, and submitted your clinical externship notes of medical massage on patients, you may sit for the written and hands-on exam.

Is the mdt exam difficult?
Yes! We make it our job to give out certifications only to therapists that deserve them! Come to class, pay attention, take notes, practice what you’ve learned, work with your mentor, and I can almost guarantee you’ll pass... I said almost.

How much does the mdt program cost?
The mdt program is a 100+hr post graduate program that includes copyrighted material from multiple authors, and various other course materials. The course is taught with a team of therapists so everyone receives a lot of one on one time. The course includes an "after class" support system so each therapist will have a mentor to assist them in their success. The course is designed to increase your value, differentiate you from your competition, and assist you in the integration into the medical community. After all that, you can refer to the schedules section for pricing. :-)

Can I leave the program slightly early?
Yes, but you are still liable for any information you miss. (See the above question: Is the mdt exam difficult?) We have a strict attendance policy. See your program for specific details.

Do I have to participate (perform and receive) in all the hands-on applications?
Yes, you must perform and receive every technique/move that is in the program. We do not certify therapists to perform techniques that they have never felt and done themselves. For any physical condition that a techniques is contraindicated we will need a medical waiver.

I presently teach for a massage school, and would like to incorporate some of your information into our program. Would this be ok?
All information is copyrighted by Dr. James Macie, and the various other authors that have agreed to be part of the mdt program. This information can not be used in any other teaching situation, class, or institution. All schools and teachers should check into our licensing agreements before entering the program.

Do I have to take the mdt program in sequence or can I jump around?
You can jump around all you want. As for the sequence, the program is designed in a sequential format.  Be sure not to miss the start of it!

Will I receive CEH's for this program?
Yes, Dr. Macie is an approved provider. You will recieve CEH's for all of his mdt technique classes. Please contact the institute for specific amounts.
